The newest trailer for the movie "Insurgent," the sequel to March's box office hit movie "Divergent," was released on Friday and it revealed some action-packed scenes including an intense face-off between Shailene Woodley's character against herself, People Magazine reported.
The trailer, which lasts for about two-and-a-half minutes, showcases Tris' ability in handling different kinds of guns and how Four, also known as Tobias Eaton (Theo James), narrowly avoids a speeding train.
It begins with a mysterious box in the middle of a room, and Erudite Jeanine, played by Kate Winslet, saying, "We found it. The future our people deserve."
"What does Jeanine think is in that box, Caleb?" Tris asks her brother, played by her "Fault in Our Stars" co-star Ansel Elgort.
"I don't know, but she's testing Divergents, searching for the one that can open it," he answers.
Then it goes back to show Jeanine ordering her men to find every last living divergent.
At which point, Four's character decides that since Jeanine will never stop hunting them, they will have to fight back, an idea which Tris initially didn't agree with because they "lack in numbers."
But Four has a plan, and along with Tris and Caleb, they go to the Factionless and joins forces with them.
"Jeanine claims you are dangerous insurgents. If we were to combine forces, we'd be unstoppable," says Evelyn, the leader of the Factionless who agreed to help the group. MTV revealed in June that her character, played by Naomi Watts, is Four's long lost mother.
Meanwhile, the trailer was faced with different reactions from fans. Some became excited to watch the movie because of it, while others expressed their disappointment that the film was completely different from how it was written in the novel, according to Entertainment Weekly.
"Insurgent," is the sequel to "Divergent" and it is the second in the planned quartet based on Veronica Roth's bestselling Young Adult series. It will hit theaters on March 20, 2015.
