Idina Menzel has given "Frozen" fans an early Christmas present.
The actress, who voiced Elsa in the mega-blockbuster 2013 animated film, hinted that the next installment of the soon-to-be "Frozen" saga is currently in the works.
In an interview with The Telegraph, the Broadway star was asked if she could confirm rumors about an upcoming "Frozen" stage adaptaion, short film and a movie sequel.
"They're all in the works!" she told the publication.
When asked if she would be working on all three projects, Menzel replied: "Ah, yeah sure."
However, she went on to say that she might not be taking part in the stage adaptation and she doesn't know who have been cast for the lead roles of royal sisters Elsa and Anna (played by Kristen Bell).
"Not the stage show," she continued. "I don't know what will happen with that, but the movie hopefully. We'll see. I'm just going along for the ride."
The news doesn't come as a surprise to everyone who fell in love with the animated film which spawned best-single single "Let It Go," numerous covers and parodies of the song, earned Disney $1.2 billion worldwide and won two Academy Awards, New York Daily News noted.
But speaking of song covers, Menzel also had a piece of advice to give for everyone who wants to cover "Let It Go," which spent weeks at the top of the Billboard charts.
"I can't give any tips on how to sing 'Let It Go' because I barely can sing it sometimes," she admits. "It's really hard. I can't wake up in the morning and just sing it, you know."
She continued: "I guess my advice is everyone that likes to sing it should sing it loud and proud and karaoke it out, sing it in the shower, sing it in the car and don't worry about hitting the high notes. I'm the only one who has to worry if people are gonna criticize me."
Disney hasn't yet commented on the rumors of a Frozen sequel.
