Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were caught on camera having an argument on the balcony of their hotel during their trip to Australia Monday, Women's Day reported.
The married couple were spotted having an argument in which Pitt was seen raising his arms with a frustrated expression and Jolie looking exhausted and stressed.
The witness said that Pitt "downed a Crown Lager" around 10 a.m. and that the couple was having an intense argument while clutching their cigarettes, according to Entertainmentwise.
The marital spat reportedly happened a few hours after they reunited in Sydney, Australia.
The source also speculated that the fight was about Jolie's busy schedule for the past year. In fact, they were barely seen together for the past weeks due to their hectic schedules.
Nonetheless, Jolie and Pitt arrived together at Sydney State Theater on the same day, bringing with them their 6-year-old twins, Vivienne and Knox. The two celebrities walked the red carpet for the first time together as a married couple during the world premiere of "Unbroken," Jolie's second film as a director.
Despite attending an important event together, Jolie and Pitt were unable to hide the uneasiness between them.
The 50-year-old actor focused his attention on signing autographs while Jolie occupied herself with answering to the media. Sometime during the event, the couple met and gave each other a short kiss and hug. Spectators at the premiere described the interaction between them as "stiff," Radar Online reported.
During the event, reporters asked Jolie about her relationship with Pitt after being married to him for three months. The 39-year-old actress commented that being married made them happy, adding "if that makes any sense."
"I don't think we needed it but it feels," Jolie continued. She paused for awhile before saying, "he's my husband."
The couple has been together since 2005, but just recently got married in August of this year in France.
