Justin Bieber tops Forbes magazine's list of the highest-earning celebrities under 30-years-old, with a revenue of $80 million, making it his fourth time on the list and his first time at the top, Contact Music reported.
Forbes released the list on Monday, claiming that the 20-year-old musician was at no.1 after earning $80 million from June 2013 through June 2014. The magazine said that the singer has his recent world tour to thank for his top spot.
The list was made out of the magazine's annual Celebrity 100 rundown that tabulated earnings for 12 months spanning from June of one year to the next, according to Forbes.
The magazine also looked at the estimates of entertainment-related income without deductions of any kind.
In their official list, nine out of the top 10 on their list are musicians or musical acts, while one actress managed to take a spot.
Following Bieber in the under 30 list is British group One Direction, with an average age of 21 and an annual income of $75 million, Taylor Swift (24) with $64 million, Bruno Mars (29) with $60 million, and Rihanna (26) at the fifth spot with $48 million.
In sixth place is Miley Cyrus, who recently turned 22, with $36 million, while Jennifer Lawrence (24) ranks seventh with an estimated $34 million, the only actress to appear on the list. Rounding up the top 10 are Lady Gaga (28) with $33 million, Avicii (25) with $28 million, and lastly, Skrillex (26) with $18 million.
It has been noted that Bieber topped the list despite not having released a new album in two and a half years, according to Vanity Fair. On the other hand, the recent releases by runner-ups One Direction and Taylor Swift, with their albums "Four" and "1989," respectively, have not been counted in the list due to the June cut-off.
Bieber has released 15-second teasers for 11 as of yet unnamed songs on his Instagram account, which has fueled rumors of a new album in the works, according to Forbes. No confirmations or announcements have been made by Bieber or his record label.
