It's really nice to see former costars reuniting after a while, and this is what happened to "Friday Night Lights" co-actors Taylor Kitsch and Connie Britton this week.
The "Nashville" actress and the "John Carter" actor enjoyed a brief reunion since their Dillon, Texas days in their Peabody Award-winning series this Thursday at the African Children's Choir Changemakers Gala in New York City, Us Weekly has learned.
At the event, Kitsch reportedly rocked a simple suit and skinny tie ensemble while the television actress wore a long-sleeve black sweater dress, which she accessorized with a gold "Y" necklace.
It can be noted that Britton portrayed guidance counselor Tami Taylor while Kitsch played hunky football star Tim Riggins on the hit series that ran from 2006 and wrapped up in 2011, according to Daily Mail.
The 47-year-old actress grabbed the chance to pose for the camera with the 33-year-old actor and Julia Barnett Tracy, the director of the African Children's Choir, and share the snap on social media.

The costars' reunion comes a month after Kitsch gushed to the press about keeping in touch with her FNL co-actors, especially his Panther teammates.
"Derek Phillips is still one of my close friends. He played my brother. Kyle [Chandler], of course. We're still really close. [Jesse] Plemons, [Scott] Porter. A lot of those guys," the "Savages" actor gushed at the GQ x Lacoste Sport Pop Up event in NYC last October.
"I hang out with [executive producer] Peter Berg. He's one of my best friends and we have done three movies together since," he added at the time.
Meanwhile, Connie Britton recently wrote a meaningful piece for TIME, expressing how much she is thankful for her adoptive son, Eyob, who is from Ethiopia.
"This child, my son, is the greatest, most hard won gift of my life," she wrote of her son. "And yes, I think that even when he is screaming NO in the most impressively pitched tone which sends the dogs outside, or is fighting me with a strength that I can't match even though I am 5 times his size. In those moments where I am so challenged by him, I am still thankful. He provides a learning curve I could never find anywhere else."
"I am grateful to my son for finding me. I am grateful to his birth mother for her fortitude in bearing him and her suffering in letting him go. I am grateful for my life as a mother," the actress quipped.
