James Van Der Beek and Joshua Jackson, stars of the popular 90s series "Dawson's Creek," bumped into each other Saturday night and their surprise reunion was nothing but priceless.
Van Der Beek was at a party when he ran into his former co-star and he expressed his excitement over the meet-up via his Instagram account, according to E! News.
"The most pleasant run-ins can happen in the most unexpected places," he wrote alongside a photo of the two of them.
In the past, cast members of the famous series have been asked whether or not they would be open for a reunion but no such thing has ever happened, Inquisitr noted.
Jackson and Van Der Beek played the role of best friends Pacey Witter and Dawson Leery respectively, who were both interested in winning the heart and attention of Joey Potter, then played by actress Katie Holmes.
Meanwhile, "Dawson's Creek" fans have another reason to enjoy because just last week, the ATX Television Festival announced its plans to schedule a reunion for the cast members of the hit '90s series, US Weekly reported.
In an interview with E! News, creator Kevin Williamson and showrunner Greg Berlanti expressed their excitement over the partnership.
"Dawson's Creek and Kevin Williamson changed my life and gave me a career. Nothing could be more exciting than to be back with so many people I respect and admire than my fellow writers from the show and our amazing creator, Kevin," Berlanti said.
Previously, Holmes also revealed that she and her cast members have remained in touch with each other throughout the years.
"You know, we all still keep in touch and support each other. And luckily, we all have been able to stay busy. We had a really wonderful time. It was six years of our lives and we were all really passionate about making it the best it could be," she said.
