Solange Knowles is a married woman! Beyoncé's 28-year-old sister has finally said her wedding vows to music video director Alan Ferguson.
The lovely couple tied the knot in New Orleans in front of their family and friends on Sunday, Us Weekly has learned.
While it is not surprising that Queen Bey and mommy Tina Knowles were in attendance, Beyoncé's husband and brother-in-law Jay Z, who skipped last Friday night's pre-wedding celebrations, was also present.
Insiders gushed that Beyoncé arrived at the venue in a black SUV, along with husband Jay Z and daughter Blue Ivy.
Solange rocked a low-cut white jumpsuit with a cape for the bid day while her husband-to-be wore a matching all-white suit.
The wedding was unique since both Solange and Alan rode white bicycles to the Holy Trinity Church in the Bywater area of New Orleans for the ceremony.
Several locals in the streets reportedly cheered for the couple as they were heading to the wedding venue, which has been a familiar shooting location in a couple of movies.
The church was adorned with a lot of beautiful things while the four trees in the area were clad with white lights and a couple more of large hanging lights.
Earlier in the week, speculations surfaced that the "Bring It On: All Or Nothing" star is to wed Ferguson near her Louisiana home, where she is residing with her 10-year-old son, Julez.
In summer, Solange already confirmed her wedding location in an Instagram post saying, "Thank you nola for giving me so many wonderful, rich, and endless days of joy. For giving my son one of the best summer experiences. For the night I danced until 8 am in a place filled with nothing but love. I fall in love with you more and more every day. You are magic. I am grateful."
Prior to tying the knot, Solange and Alan's family and friends enjoyed movie night at Indywood Cinema - the venue of the lovely couple's first date - on Friday, according to E! News.
"Solange is getting married to a wonderful man on Sunday and they rented out the theater for a pre-wedding party," a post from the theatre's official Facebook page read. "It was beautiful, they were beautiful."
The following day, the twosome and their guests gathered for the rehearsal dinner,
This is Solange's second marriage. She was formerly married to ex-husband and father of her son, Daniel Smith, reports People. They tied the knot in February 2004 but split in 2007.
