The Hallyu wave - the booming K-POP, Korean drama and everything Korean - is sweeping across the world, and it's exception for the fashion world.
"Fashion King," a Korean drama starring SNSD member Yuri, was joined by designer Tory Burch, who rarely exposes herself to the media.
Burch is starred as dean of a fashion design school, and joined the filming process ongoing in New York.
"It was an extraordinary experience, and very interesting and fun time. I got to share the strong passion towards work and art from Korean actors," said the renowned designer.
"All the Korean actors first acted shy and quite. Then I heard they are big stars in Korea, everyone was very polite and humble. Love them"
Fashion King is to be aired on March 19.
Girls' Generation, or SNSD, member Yuri is starred in the drama as the main character Anna Choi, a lonely protégé of a famed designer.
Several teaser photos and video have been revealed.
“While a singer has to pour all her energy and impact to a short performance, an actor needs to maintain the energy and live like the character over a longer period of time, which is why I find it more difficult," Yuri said according to Soompi.
“I am having fun challenging myself these days.”
