Jennifer Lopez struck punchy poses for V Magazine's new Sports issue.
Lopez, who says she learned how to box for the film "Money Train," was dressed in a cut-off white vest by Emporio Armani, red boxing gloves and a groin protector that made the boxing theme "more graphic," indicating the survival instinct behind her successful career.
In other photos Lopez wore everything from a Prada satin jacket to an Alexander Wang jacket, a Calvin Klein t-shirt, MaxMara jacket, Giogio Armani shorts, Giuseppe Zanotti shoes and David Yurman necklace.
"I know how to fight!" says the American Idol judge in the cover story.
"I've always felt like a tough girl from the Bronx, but I have a soft core," Lopez told the magazine.
"I can take a lot of punches and still keep going. I've been trained like a boxer to go 15 rounds."
Speaking of her relationship with ex-husband Marc Anthony as they launch a new show "Q;Viva! The Chosen," Lopez said they get along.
“I mean, we’re parents and friends first. That will be the thread that ties us together,” said the 42-year-old mother of twins.
“I don’t know if people expect it to be negative just because the relationship didn’t work out.”
