The fall/winter collections for 2012 have sported loads of military looks, and Ferragamo was not an exception. The brand's creative director Massimiliano Giornetti also managed to bring feminine elegance with sheer and lacy dresses.

Salvatore Ferragamo started off its runway on Sunday at Milan Fashion Week with a parade of military coats with gold accents, and turned to soft feminine in romantic and breezy dresses, paired with open-toed Victorian lace-up sandals and pretty embroidered clutch bags. Black, plum, taupe and scarlet dominated the collection.
