Daniel Radcliffe has said that her sex scene with Juno Temple in their new dark fantasy thriller film "Horns" went better than the previous bed scene he did for another project.
"My previous sex scene was with a man," the 25-year-old British actor laughingly told People Thursday night, Oct. 30, at the "Horns" Los Angeles premiere. "And also with a man who was not a principal cast member of the film, so I didn't know him that well. At least with Juno we had a lot of time to know each other well."
"I can't imagine shooting one of those scenes with someone you hate," he added. "It would be horrible!"
"Horns" is directed by Alexandre Aja and is based on the novel of the same title by Joe Hill. It follows the story of a young man named Ig Perrish (Radcliffe) who is accused of the rape and murder of his girlfriend Merrin Williams (Temple). All of the sudden, Ig begins to grow horns. And as the horns become longer and longer, people around him start to tell him their darkest secrets, allowing him to uncover his girlfriend's real killer.
"I am very horny in this film," the "Harry Potter" star joked to People at the said event sponsored by PAX by Ploom. "The horns are a look I can see catching on. I think I'm going to spark a trend, don't you?"
Radcliffe also revealed that her girlfriend Erin Darke "loves" his horns in the film. "They're glorious and I hope very attractive," he added of his horns.
Since October 2012, Radcliffe has been dating Darke, whom he met on the set of his 2013 biographical drama film "Kill Your Darlings," according to Yahoo Celebrity. And the romance between the two is doing better than ever. "Things are great," he told People of their relationship.
Speaking at the San Diego Comic-Con last July, Radcliffe said that he was amazed the first time he saw himself with the horns and all the prosthetics, Hypable reported. "There is something incredibly empowering with a set of horns on or just looking like the devil," he said. "You start to have normal conversations with people and you see their eyes just drift up and fixate on them."
