Korea is not only sending its music idols to the world.
Riding on the K-pop wave, Korean fashion is on the rise.
Many doe-eyed K-pop female singers are stealing the limelight wherever they go - making fashion statements at the airport and on the streets, just like Hollywood stars.
Lately, Girls' Generation, or SNSD, members were spotted at London Fashion Week, attending the 2012 Burberry Prosum Womenswear Collection show. SeoHyun, YoonA and Tiffany "were the celebrities who received the most enthusiastic interest and response," a Burberry official told SM Entertainment after the show.
Girls' Generation is a pop group with members Kim Taeyeon, Jessica Jung, Sunny, Tiffany, Kim Hyoyeon, Kwon Yuri, Choi Sooyoung, Im Yoona and Seohyun.
In a survey, Girls' Generation was chosen by a majority of marketing employees as the model with the most influence over consumers, garnering their positive attention from the public due to their vocals, looks and fashion sense.
The innocent, feminine and friendly looks of K-POP stars stand in contract with the U.S. entertainment scenes, which make often more sensual and provocative statements.
