Alfonso Ribeiro is going to be a dad - again!
The 43-year-old actor, best known for his portrayal of Carlton Banks on the NBC sitcom "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," has revealed that he and his wife Angela Unkrich are expecting their second child together.
Ribeiro, who is currently competing on "Dancing with the Stars," broke the news right after completing a rumba with partner Witney Carson on Monday night's episode of ABC's hit dance competition show, according to Access Hollywood.
"My son, it's his first birthday today, so I'm so happy that he's here with me and as a wonderful present, my wife and I decided to get him a little brother or sister," Ribeiro said while speaking with "Dancing with the Stars" co-host Erin Andrews. "So we're having a baby."
The Bronx, New York-born actor said that he decided to make the announcement on the show as his way of showing gratitude to the fans.
"I wanted to announce it here on the show because I just want to say thank you to all the fans," he said.
Ribeiro tied the knot with writer Unkrich in October 2012 after getting engaged in July 2012, CNN reported. The couple and their son named Alfonso Lincoln Ribeiro, Jr., who was born on October 27, 2013, currently reside in Los Angeles.
Ribeiro was previously married to Robin Stapler in 2002. The two divorced in 2006, filing papers in Los Angeles County Superior Court that cited irreconcilable differences. The now former couple share joint custody of their daughter, Sienna Ribeiro, according to People.
Aside from being an actor and dancer, Ribeiro is also a television director and a game show host. He directed eight episodes of "Meet the Browns" and 19 episodes of "Are We There Yet?" according to his IMDb page.
Ribeiro started hosting the game show "Catch 21" in 2008. And in 2013, Ribeiro began hosting his second game show "Spell-Mageddon" on ABC Family.
