Vivienne Westwood presented her Red Label on Sunday during London Fashion Week, with models with mysterious body paints walking down the runway in Westwood's signature draped dresses and solid color suits.

The 70-year-old British designer brought feminine chic by incorporating abstract patterns, tartan prints and muted colors, with lots of purple and hints of red. The collection included suits, trousers and pleated skirts, draped dresses, blouses and jackets.

As a strong believer in the idea that "Fashion is alive when it is being worn and talked about,” Westwood says she uses the medium of her shows to talk about culture and politics, more specifically about the urgent need to act against climate change, according to London Fashion Week website.

"People have never looked so ugly as they do today regarding their dress. We are so conformist, nobody is thinking. We are all sucking up stuff, we have been trained to be consumers and we are all consuming far too much," Westwood told reporters before the fashion show.

"I'm talking about all this disposable crap. So I'm saying buy less, choose well, make it last. Everybody looks like clones and the only people you notice are my age."
