Marcela Valladolid is pregnant again!
The 36-year-old celebrity chef, best known as one of the hosts of Food Network's cooking-themed talk show "The Kitchen," is expecting her second child.
Valladolid hinted at her pregnancy on Instagram two weeks ago by posting a cute photo of her 10-year-old son Fausto. In the snap, her first pre-teen child is wearing a gray shirt with the following statement emblazoned on it: "Keep calm I'm going to be a big brother." The San Diego, California-born chef captioned the pic: "Somebody got braces today! And I need to fix the lamp behind Fau. And then there's also that other big announcement... AAAAHHHHHHHHHHH #SendBlessings."
And just last week, Valladolid shared a picture of a sonogram with her almost 19,000 Instagram followers. She captioned the black and white pic, "Good morning world. What's happening out there?" and tagged Phillip D. Button along with a heart symbol at the end of her post.
Last month, Valladolid and Button attended a wedding together, and in a photo she posted on Instagram, she referred to Button as her "amor."
In a recent interview with People, Valladolid said that Fausto is excited to become an older brother.
"Fau asks daily about the gender of the baby and has already picked out names for both a brother or a sister," the expectant mom told the celebrity magazine. "I [come from] a huge family with lots of kids, many younger than him, and he's known as the cousin that takes care of the little ones. He's almost maternal when it comes to toddlers. He's been asking for a really long time for a baby brother or baby sister and is thrilled it's finally happening."
Valladolid, who also served as the host of Food Network's "Mexican Made Easy," also discussed her pregnancy diet with People.
"It's funny because I'm eating healthier than I have in a long time," she said. "Not necessarily because I want to, but because the morning sickness will only allow for small, light meals throughout the day."
She also revealed that she incorporates vegetables from her home garden, and avoids greasy food to combat nausea. "My body at the moment is just not tolerating anything too heavy, rich, spicy or fatty," she explained.
Last year, Valladolid was at the centre of a scandal as she was reported to be the "other woman" of English baker and celebrity chef Paul Hollywood, who was married to Alexandra Hollywood, Daily Mail reported.
Valladolid and Hollywood were the judges on the CBS reality show "The American Baking Competition," Zap2it reported.
