Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton has fired back at actress Jennifer Lawrence's comments about him, reports Cosmopolitan UK
The unedited five-minute video showed the gossip blogger ranting and insisting that his apology to the "Hunger Games" actress for posting her nude photos on her website was sincere.
Lawrence spoke of the "fappening" with Vanity Fair earlier this month. She was among dozens of celebrities targeted by hackers who stole their private pictures, which were later published online.
The actress took aim at the blogger in the interview, saying he "took it down because people got pissed, and that's the only reason why. And then I had to watch his apology. And what he basically said was 'I just didn't think about it.' I just didn't think about it is not an excuse. That is the exact issue."
In retaliation, Hilton defended his action and insisted he did not intend to hurt Lawrence.
"She mentions how she was forced to watch the video I made right after her naked photos surfaced online," Hilton said in a video message posted on his blog PerezHilton.com on Monday. "In that video, I apologized to her sincerely from my heart and I did so more than once. And I was tempted to apologize to her again, but you know what. ...No, f--- that."
He added, "It wasn't some b----hit, made-up excuse and just because it wasn't what you wanted to hear doesn't mean it wasn't adequate or sufficient."
"I am not that person in the past. And if you're trying to keep me in the prison that is the past, then f--- you!" he continued.
After a couple of minutes of ranting, however, the blogger ended his video message with another apology to the actress.
"You were extremely hurt. I contributed to that. I genuinely am sorry," he said. "I hope that you can look inside my brain and see that I truly, truly did not pre-meditatively, purposely decide to hurt you."
Lawrence has not commented on the message.
