Jennifer Lawrence has denounced gossip blogger Perez Hilton for posting her hacked naked pictures on his website, according to The Guardian.
Lawrence was among the dozens of celebrities whose private nude pictures were hacked from their iCloud accounts. When the photos were leaked, Hilton, whose websites are widely popular in gossip circles, reposted the photos.
When the blogger received criticism for his action, he took the photos down and apologized.
"At work we often have to make quick decisions. I made a really bad one today and then made it worse. I feel awful and am truly sorry," he wrote on Twitter. He later posted a video, where he said: "A lot of you let me know that my actions were wrong. I didn't even stop to think about my actions," he said.
In her Vanity Fair interview published online last week, Lawrence slammed Hilton and said she took offense not only at his posting of the photos but the manner in which he apologized.
"He took it down because people got pissed, and that's the only reason why. And then I had to watch his apology. And what he basically says was, 'I just didn't think about it.' 'I just didn't think about it' is not an excuse," she said.
"You have a choice. You don't have to be a person who spreads negativity and lies for a living. You can do something good," she continued.
Extending the back-and-forth, Hilton fired back at Lawrence on Monday for criticizing his apology, The Wrap has learned.
"I'm not trying to be Oprah. I am just a better version of me than I was 10 years ago," he said in a new video. Do I still have work to do? Can I still be even better? Yeah, but I am not that person in the past."
In the video, Hilton also hurls expletive at Lawrence. The actress has not publicly responded to the new comments by the blogger as of this writing.
