Adele's era is here - the 23-year-old singer landed on Vogue's March cover as she took home 6 Grammys last Sunday.
The cover photo, however, is causing controversy, with many readers wondering whether it was heavily Photoshopped to make her look thinner.
"I just really wish that Vogue would let me see her chin… and her real body" Briana Rognlin of BLISSTREE said.
We love to see Adele looking great, but for the British singer who has been so honest and comfortable with her figure, we'd rather see her in her real self, and that would be gorgeous enough!
This is what Adele told British Vogue last year -
"I enjoy being me. I always have done. I've seen people where it rules their lives, you know, who want to be thinner or have bigger boobs, and how it wears them down. And I just don't want that in my life."
"It's just never been an issue -- at least, I've never hung out with the sort of horrible people who make it an issue. I have insecurities of course, but I don't hang out with anyone who points them out to me," she said.
Adele is anything but ashamed of her appearance, and that's exactly why we admire her.
"I've never wanted to look like models on the cover of magazines," says Adele, according to People Magazine. "I represent the majority of women and I'm very proud of that."
Inside Vogue's March issue, Adele rocks a black embroidered Oscar de la Renta top and black leather Fratelli Orsini gloves.
At the 54th Grammy Awards last Sunday, Adele's epic voice reigned the night, which marked her much-anticipated return to the stage since her vocal cord surgery in November.
