Matthew Morrison is now a married man!

The 35-year-old actor, best known for his role as Will Schuester on the Fox musical dramedy "Glee," tied the knot with his fiancée Renee Puente Saturday evening, Oct. 18, in an intimate ceremony in front of 50 family members and friends on a private estate in Kihei on the island of Maui, Hawaii, the actor's rep confirmed to People.

Morrison wore a custom Brooks Brothers tuxedo for the very special occasion and also sported a leafy lei. The bride wore an ivory, long sleeve, Gustavo gown with a sheer, lace overlay and sash. She partnered her gorgeous dress with a pair of shoes especially designed by Emmy London, and also sported a pink rose flower crown and carried a matching, cascading bouquet. Pianist Chad Whidden played for the small crowd and soloist Kiley Dean sang "Feels Like Home" as Puente walked down the aisle.

During the reception, Puente showed off her dancing skills with a Hula performance for her husband, who later joined her for a couple's version. The newlyweds also performed a duet of Laura Benanti's "Starry Eyed/Video Games."

The pair's engagement was announced by Morrison's good friends, Elton John and David Furnish, onstage at their White Tie and Tiara ball in London on June 27, 2013, according to E! News. Right after the announcement Coldplay frontman Chris Martin joined John for a duet of "Your Song," dedicated to the newly engaged couple.

The next day, Morrison tweeted: "An incredible night of LOVE @ejaf Ball. I'm going to marry my best friend! Happy day for me and @Renee_Puente."

"I'm very happy. Renee's not in the industry -- I need that normality," the "Music and Lyrics" star told Closer magazine in 2013, as quoted by Us Weekly. "We like to stay home and cook, we're not that Hollywood."

Also last year, Morrison told Hello magazine via Entertainment Tonight, "I met Renee at a Grammy party about two years ago. It was definitely one of those things - she walked into the room and she took my breath away, she's gorgeous. It's funny - you date your whole life and you definitely know what you want and what you don't want from going through the ringer, but Renee is definitely the one."

This is the first marriage for both. Morrison, who began dating Puente in 2011, previously dated Kristen Bell while an undergraduate at New York University. He also dated Lea Michele before they were reunited on the set of "Glee." And in February 2011, he was linked to Olivia Munn.
