NBC announced earlier this month that Taylor Swift will appear as a key adviser to all the coaches in the ongoing seventh season of "The Voice." And in a recent interview with Access Hollywood, the 24-year-old singer opened up about her mentoring style.

"I try to react to them the way that I like to be critiqued, which is constructive criticism," the "Shake It Off" hitmaker said. "I like to tell them what they're doing well and what they should keep, but give them very specific things that they should maybe change or adjust."

"'You're doing this mannerism too much, or you're only holding that guitar because it's comfortable for you. Put it down,'" she continued. "You know, things like that. I try to be really direct."

"Taylor was an absolute pleasure to work with," a source told Us Weekly of Swift's contribution to the reality television singing competition. "She had great feedback for all the contestants. She made for an amazing mentor."

In her interview with Access Hollywood, Swift also opened up about what it has been like to work with this season's "The Voice" coaches.

"The first person that I worked with was Blake Shelton, who I've known for years because we both have been in the country music scene for years and years and years," Taylor said. "His favorite this to do is to make me uncomfortable!"

"And after you talk to Pharrell, you feel really good for about two weeks straight... he's like a sorcerer, of happiness,"  added the Reading, Pennsylvania-born recording artist.

"Pharrell and I were talking, in the breaks yesterday, and we just kept saying, 'We have to do something together!' He's like, 'You just call me. Call me when you figure it out," shared the seven-time Grammy-winning recording artist. "'I'm like, 'You call me if you figure it out first!'"

Swift will make her first appearance on the show on Oct. 27, the same date her new album "1989" will be released. She will appear again on Oct. 28 and on Nov. 3 as the knockouts wraps up, E! News reported.
