Kelly Rowland is the newest addition to the growing list of celebrities who have posed naked while pregnant.
The 33-year-old singer-actress, who is currently pregnant with his first child with husband Tim Witherspoon, recently posed completely naked for Elle magazine.
In one nude photo, the "Motivation" hitmaker flashes a lovely smile while standing totally naked between sheer white curtains. She cradles her baby bump with one hand while covering up her nipples with the other.
In one black and white photograph, "The X Factor" judge wears a pair of black pants with an open coat, revealing both her baby bump and cleavage. And just like in the first snap, she again cradles her bare belly with one hand while shielding her exposed breasts with the other. She is seated on a wooden crate sporting a pair black high heel pumps.
Aside from posing naked, "The Seat Filler" actress also opened up to Elle about how excited she is of becoming a mother.
"I can't wait until he gets here," she said. "I just have a couple more weeks. I'm excited to bring a child into the world, and sharing that experience with my husband is probably the most beautiful part."
When asked how she would balance her career, marriage and motherhood, she answered: "I watch Diana Ross and Donna Summer and all these women-they've managed to do it all. I think 'What makes me different? I can definitely do it.'"
"This is something I've wanted," she added. "I've been talking about babies since last year. I believe I spoke it into existence during a conversation with my friend, and I feel like I became pregnant overnight! And she said all we need is a community of strong people around us, and we rely on each other and our families."
Rowland also said that she does not quite understand why pregnant celebrities would get criticized after posing naked for a magazine. "I don't know why they would get flack," she said. "It's really-I won't say amazing-it's Godmazing [laughs] watching your body carry a human. I took a birthing class and I was amazed by all the things this woman was saying to me about birthing and what the body does naturally. Why wouldn't you want to celebrate that? The body should be celebrated."
Rowland announced her engagement to Witherspoon during an appearance on "The Queen Latifah Show" in December 2013, Rap-Up reported.
The two then tied the knot in Costa Rica in May this year, with guests including Beyoncé and her sister Solange Knowles, according to Us Weekly.
In June, Rowland announced via Instagram, that she and Witherspoon were expecting their first child. She shared the news by posting a photo of her husband's Air Jordans next to a pair of baby Airs, with the caption: "I'll be stuntin like my daddy..." The line is a reference to the Birdman and Lil Wayne song "Stuntin' Like My Daddy," according to Hollywood Life.
