Remember the massive "Mariah" tattoo on Nick Cannon's back? Well, that has already been covered up!

Cannon was at Playhouse in Hollywood Thursday night, Oct. 2, to celebrate his 34th birthday in advance (He is about to turn a year older next Wednesday, Oct. 8.). The 33-year-old "America's Got Talent" host, who was the DJ of the night, took off his shirt during his set, and guests at the bash noticed his new giant back tattoo covering the entirety of his old "Mariah" ink, Madame Noire reported.

Playhouse posted an Instagram clip featuring the shirtless rapper during the party, and though the footage is not that clear, it is visible that the "Mariah" tat has gone.

Sources close to Cannon told TMZ that the record producer's new tattoo shows Jesus on the cross with angel wings coming off the end the cross.

Cannon's rumored estranged wife Mariah Carey also got a much smaller tattoo on her back during the glorious days of their relationship: a butterfly and the initials "MC."

According to the 44-year-old singer, her ink stands for "Mrs. Cannon," but during an interview back in 2008, Ellen DeGeneres quipped that the tattoo could just be the singer's initials in case the marriage did not work out.

"That's so mean, Ellen!" Carey said, as quoted by MTV News. "I never had a tattoo before, and it's his first tattoo also - that's why it was a big deal. I fell asleep during my tattoo. People were like, 'What?' I was gangsta for that, a little bit."

Earlier this year, Cannon hinted that his marriage to Carey had already ended when he appeared in public without a wedding ring. But while the couple has yet to officially confirm their long-rumored divorce, a former assistant of the "Always Be My Baby" singer told Star magazine that the pop star is not handling their alleged split very well.

"It's really sad," the source told Star magazine, as quoted by The Hollywood Gossip. "Her self-esteem is at an all-time low. She's run down and bloated and she isn't sleeping."

"She often goes into trances," added the tipster. "She even has special assistants whose job it is to stand behind her in case she falls backwards. On top of that, she drinks wine of champagne constantly. It's a recipe for disaster."

Mariah's former assistant continued: "She drinks white wine out of a ginger ale can. She sips it through a straw so it looks like she's just sipping ginger ale. Her assistants have to carry backpacks full of wine, so that if she ever needs a refill, they can go to a bathroom and fill it up for her."
