Known for her "Beast Of The Southern Wild" performance, Quvenzhané Wallis plays the title role in the upcoming Sony Pictures remake of the Broadway musical "Annie," where she stars with Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz.

According to Wallis, it was really fun working with "A Million Ways To Die In The West" actor and "Sex Tape" star.

"Cameron was like my Mom, and then Jamie was like my Dad," the 11-year-old actress told Perez Hilton in an interview. "It was really such a good relationship between all of us."

"Everything was pretty fun but one of the best things was that they had more like, a lot of kids, well, not a lot but they had the other foster kids there so it was really fun to deal with," Wallis said about filming "Annie."

In the same interview, Wallis also said 18-year-old "Replay" singer and former Disney star Zendaya is in her bucket list of stars she wants to work with.  

Set to be released on Dec. 19, "Annie" also stars Rose Byrne, Bobby Cannavale, Adewale Akinnuoye Agbaje, Dorian Missick and Tracie Thoms among others.

Directed by Will Gluck who revised Emma Thompson and Aline Brosh McKenna's original script, "Annie" was filmed in New York City in partnership with Jay Z, who is also working on the soundtrack, Indie Wire reported.

After "Annie," Wallis' next project is a film adaptation of Holly Goldberg Sloan's bestselling novel "Counting By 7s."

The Mazur/Kaplan Company and Olympus Pictures Wallis to play a bright young girl named Willow Chance, who taken in by a dubious surrogate family and an inept guidance counsellor after the death of her adoptive parents, Deadline reported.

"I am honored to play the role of Willow in 'Counting By 7s.' I love the message behind the story. I am excited to be a part of it and to see it come to life," Wallis said.

Wallis was nine when she was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress for the 2012 film "Beast of the Southern Wild," making her the youngest actress to receive an Oscar Best Actress nomination.
