Chris Brown's mother, Joyce Hawkins, and girlfriend Karrueche Tran are extremely concerned with the singer's gang affiliations.
On Monday, TMZ was first to report that Brown is contemplating of promoting gangs and this has made his family and girlfriend greatly worried.
Ever since he was freed from prison, Brown has been referring to LA gang Bloods again and again in some of his most recent interviews and have even mentioned them on his posts on social media, according to The Malay Mail Online.
Tran and Hawkins are worried that Brown may be putting himself in danger once again and jeopardizing his career, the same publication noted.
On the other hand, Brown apparently thinks that the association with the gang is cool.
Meanwhile, multiple sources have claimed that the Los Angeles Police Department had talks with hundreds of night club owners and have urged them to ban the singer and his crew from performing at their clubs, Expose reported.
This news came after last week's stabbing incident during Brown's performance at the Supperclub in Hollywood.
"When Brown and his people show, we know what's going to happen. It's a headache for us," a law enforcement officer told TMZ.
However, Brown has never been accused of instigating the violence, but cops are adamant at saying that every time he has a performance, something serious takes place and jeopardizes the safety and security of thousands of attendees.
Last month, three people were shot, including Suge Knight, during Brown's performance at 1OAK, the same publication reported.
Back in 2012, Chris and his group got into a bottle-smashing fight with Drake's entourage.
Meanwhile, the "Turn Up the Music" singer recently attended a charity event aimed at encouraging young people to stay away from gangs, an obvious contradiction of where his heart really is at, Entertainment Wise noted.
