Wiz Khalifa (real name Cameron Jibril Thomaz) has filed a countersuit to Amber Rose's divorce papers in a Los Angeles court Friday, June 26.
The 27-year-old rapper's response is almost a carbon copy of her estranged wife's petition, except for the fact that he is asking the court to grant him joint physical custody and visitation rights of their 2-year old son, Sebastian Taylor Thomaz, according to E! News.
Just like Rose, the "Blacc Hollywood" rapper also cited irreconcilable differences for the reason of their divorce, but he is challenging the 30-year-old model's request for full physical custody of their son.
Khalifa is believed to have an advantage over Rose, because in California, there is a presumption that joint custody is in the best interests of a child, while full custody is often seen as a sign of vengeance, according to TMZ.
Considering the ex-couple has a pre-nup in place, the Minot, North Dakota-born recording artist is reportedly willing to pay Rose spousal support. Sources connected with Khalifa and Rose told the celebrity gossip website that the agreement provides the "Selfie" actress more than $5,000 a month.
On Thursday, Sept. 25, Rose took to Twitter to slam allegations that she was the one who cheated on Khalifa that led to their split.
"Please stop with the fake stories. I would never ever ever cheat on my husband in a million years I think u guys know this," she tweeted.
In a follow-up tweet, Rose, suggested that it was actually Khalifa who cheated on her. "Unfortunately my now ex husband can't say the same," she wrote.
Sources recently told TMZ that Khalifa moved out from their house weeks before Rose filed for divorce from him. And the day before her actual filing, Rose went to Khalifa's own place at 2:00 a.m. and caught him with another woman.
On the other hand, a tipster told MediaTakeOut that "Amber has had a crush on Nick since forever," adding, "He was like a mentor to her, and I think she fell in love."
