Khloe Kardashian's recent split from French Montana has been shadowed with numerous speculations including the latest one that involves the reality star's bff Malika Haqq.
Words have been spreading that the 29-year-old rapper was texting Haqq, 31, while he was dating the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star. The two reportedly went behind Kardashian's back and had a secret "texting relationship" causing Khloe to dump Montana when she found out.
"Khloe broke into [French's] phone and saw him sending all kinds of inappropriate texts to her girl [Malika]. She blacked out on dude, and that's why they broke up," an insider told MediaTakeOut.com.
And while it is expected for Khloe's relationship with Haqq to be ruined after the alleged inappropriate relationship, turns out friendship is still more important than fling for Kim Kardashian's sister.
"Khloe has been down with Malika since forever. They have the kind of friendship that even if Malika was f***ing Khloe's man, they'd still be friends," the source added. "Besides, I don't think Khloe was into [French Montana] like that."
The alleged affair is just among the rumored reasons for the couple's split. Another speculated cause was that Montana was too "needy" of Khloe that the latter got tired of him being "so dependent on her," Us Weekly reported.
"The relationship got too heavy and Khloe needed to take a step back," a source told Us.
Apparently, Kardashian still loves her ex-husband, Lamar Odom, and she is considering a reconciliation, another insider told Hollywood Life. That probably explains why the reality star who filed for divorce from her estranged husband in December 2013, is holding back on Montana because she is still waiting on Odom.
"She didn't want to leave Lamar, she stayed in there for as long as she could. He chose to do the things he did - not her," the insider told Hollywood Life.
