Miley Cyrus is currently under investigation for allegedly flossing a big fake butt she wore using Mexico's flag.

The 21-year-old singer took the stage of Mexico this week and surprised thousands of concertgoers when she allegedly used the country's flag to "floss" the big fake butt she was wearing.

Following her controversial twerking act, local Monterrey lawmaker Francisco Trevino asked that government officials punish the "Wrecking Ball" singer for disrespecting their country, according to E! News.

Trevino posted a four-minute video via Facebook, urging Miguel Angel Osorio Chong, Secretary of Interior to punish Cyrus for her deed, the same publication noted.

Mexican law states that disrespecting the flag in any form is tantamount to a fine of $1,200 or 36 hours in jail, News.co.au reported.

"They are hitting her with the flag, or cleaning her backside. It's a lack of respect. The interior ministry must sanction the singer Miley Cyrus for desecrating the flag," Trevino said.

Trevino also spoke to CNN where he said, "I felt truly offended and annoyed by the fact that a foreign artist feels like she can come here and make fun of and mock our national flag on Independence Day. She brazenly made fun of our flag."

The "We Can't Stop" singer still has three shows in Mexico as part of her "Bangerz" tour. After which, she will be heading to Brazil, Chile and Argentina, the LA Times noted.

Cyrus' last stop will take place in New Zealand and her tour will officially come to a close this coming October in Australia, the same publication reported.

Meanwhile, "Bangerz" tour was previously banned in the Dominican Republic after officials claimed that it violates and disrespects the country's beliefs and culture, according to Mirror.

The Dominican Republic's Comision Nacional de Espectaculos Publicos y Radiofonia (CNEPR) reportedly took offense after seeing Cyrus' "incitement to sex, lesbian sex and use of inappropriate objects in public."
