Beyonce and Jay Z are reportedly working on a joint album.
Dash Radio's DJ Skee revealed Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 16, that sources close to the power couple told him that the two music superstars are collaborating on a new album that would be released either in late 2014 or early 2015, AceShowbiz reported.
"They're working on an album together," the 30-year-old DJ said on his radio station. "We all know what Jay Z did with Samsung last year, we all know Beyonce came out of nowhere [with a surprise album release], but this secret would top all of them, even that new U2 album."
In addition, Karli Henriquez, vice president of Pop Programming at Dash Radio, told E! News that the joint album of Blue Ivy's parents would be "huge."
Up to now, no confirmation or denial has been made by the couple's camp. But if the album is, indeed, in the works, it will be Beyonce and Jay Z's first collaborative LP. The spouses of six years previously worked together on several hits including "Drunk in Love," which is included in Beyonce's 2013 surprise self-titled album, and "Part II (On the Run)," which is one of the tracks in Jay Z's twelfth studio album "Magna Carta... Holy Grail."
The exciting news comes right after the music duo wrapped up their "On The Run" joint tour in Paris, France over the weekend. Followers of the couple, who watched the tour's final two shows on Friday night and Saturday night, were treated to a surprise performance from Nicki Minaj, who joined Beyonce on stage to perform "Flawless," The Mirror reported.
Meanwhile, Beyonce and Jay Z, who are currently enjoying a well deserved rest and recreation aboard a private super yacht, are reportedly interested in buying a $85 million mansion in Beverly Hills.
Real estate sources told TMZ that the couple visited a brand new 23,000 square foot cliffside palace twice while they were residing in Los Angeles over the summer.
The 8-bedroom, 15-bathroom crib features an attached 16-car garage, infinity pool, wine cellar, 24-seat movie theater and panoramic views of Malibu and downtown Los Angeles.
