"Elementary" star Lucy Liu has been filming the CBS show, in which she plays Dr. Joan Watson, and he has recently taken to Instagram to share photos of the set of to her fans.
On Wednesday, Sept. 10, Liu posted one photo of buildings with a caption, "Location today 34th floor #NYC elementary_cbs."
After one day, the 45-year-old actress again took to Instagram to share another "Elementary" location photo with a caption, "Today's location Aqueduct Racetrack elementary_cbs."
Aside from filming "Elementary," Liu also did voice work in the animated films "The Tale of Princess Kaguya," "The Pirate Fairy" and "Kung Fu Panda 3," according to Fans Share.
The third season of the CBS crime drama series "Elementary" will premiere on Oct. 10.
Set and filmed in New York City, "Elementary" debuted in Sept. 2012 and returned for its second season in Oct. 2013.
Also starring in "Elementary" are Angelina Jolie's former husband Jonny Lee Miller as Sherlock Homes, Aidan Quinn as Capt. Thomas Gregson, Jon Michael Hill as Detective Marcus Bell, Rhys Ifans as Mycroft Holmes, Natalie Dormer as Jamie Moriarty and Jordan Gelber as Dr. Eugene Hawes among others.
Meanwhile, Miller also plays Creature in "NT Live: Frankenstein" opposite "12 Years A Slave" actor Benedict Cumberbatch as Victor Frankenstein.
On Oct. 27 and 29, "NT Live: Frankenstein" will return to cinema screens across the United States due to unprecedented demand, Fathom Events, National Theatre Live (NT Live) and BY Experience announced, Broadway reported.
Directed by Academy Award-winner Danny Boyle known for "Slumdog Millionaire," "NT Live: Frankenstein" will be presented through Fathom's Digital Broadcast Network in more than 550 select movie theaters around the U.S., The Global Dispatch reported.
"These stunning stage performances give local communities the chance to gather together for an experience in movie theaters like no other," Fathom Events executive vice president Shelly Maxwell said of Olivier winners Miller and Cumberbatch's performances.
