Heather Morris is officially reprising her role as the "genius" Brittany S. Pierce for the upcoming sixth and final season of "Glee."
Lea Michele took to Twitter Wednesday, Sept. 10, and shared an on-set snapshot of her in costume as Rachel Berry with Morris. "Love being on set with this lady! Welcome to twitter @HeatherMorrisTV! #GleeSeason6," Michele tweeted, along with said photo, which was seemingly taken inside McKinley High's library.
As previously revealed by Fox, Rachel heads back to Ohio after her "humiliating failure as a TV actress." And rumor has it that she will use her remaining TV money to revive New Directions, according to mjsbigblog.com. However, there is no word yet on what exactly brings Brittany back to Lima.
Morris, who was recently engaged with her longtime boyfriend Taylor Hubbell, also took to Twitter and shared a selfie with Kevin McHale. "Love this picture and this boy :) happy to be back," she wrote.
On Wednesday, McHale also shared an Instagram photo of him with Naya Rivera. He captioned it with "#LookWhatWashedUp" and two bee emojis, in reference to his nickname, "bee," according to Wetpaint.
McHale was named one of the main cast members for the final season of "Glee," along with Michele, Chris Colfer, Darren Criss, Dot-Marie Jones, Lynch, Matthew Morrison, Chord Overstreet and Amber Riley. However, there is no information yet about his story arc in the upcoming season.
Also on Wednesday, E! News confirmed that Dianna Agron, Mark Salling, Jenna Ushkowitz and Jayma Mays are all appearing as guest stars in the final 13-episode run of the Fox musical series.
Last month, it was revealed that Max Adler will also reprise his role as Dave Karofsky in at least four episodes next season, The Hollywood Reporter first reported.
On the other hand, Nolan Funk was rumored that he would also be reappearing on the show as Hunter Clarington, after he tweeted a selfie with Criss late last month.
"Glee" Season 6 is expected to air on Fox next year.
