Last week, Kristian Nairn, who plays the gentle giant Hodor in "Game of Thrones," revealed that he won't be appearing on the show next season. And since his character is a great part of Bran Stark's story arc, several news sites were quick to assume that Isaac Hempstead-Wright would not also reprising his role. Apparently, this was a misunderstanding, as the 15-year-old actor confirmed that he is returning in Season 5.

In an interview with Australia's 7.30 to promote his DJ tour "Rave of Thrones," Nairn said that he has a year off from the show.

"We're not actually in Season 5, by the way. We have a season off. We have a year's hiatus," the 38-year-old Irish actor and DJ told 7.30's reporter Monique Schafter. "Solely because, I imagine, our storyline is up to the end of the books. So I get a year off now to do 'Rave of Thrones' and gallivant all over the world."

Nairn used the word "we," so many assumed that he was referring to his co-stars Hempstead-Wright and Ellie Kendrick, who plays Meera in the hit HBO fantasy drama show. After all, the characters they play were last seen together in the Season 4 finale.

But in an interview with On Demand Entertainment (ODE) for his upcoming film, "The Boxtrolls," Hempstead-Wright mentioned that he will be reprising his role as Bran.

When ODE asked what his fans can expect from him next, he responded, "The next season of 'Game of Thrones' and school are my biggest projects, at the moment," he said.

Another thing that somehow supports Hempstead-Wright appearance in Season 5, is a recently surfaced casting call posted on ProjectCasting.com. According to it, the show is looking for an "eclectic group of people," in Ireland, both male and female of any ethnicities, 18 years old or older with a waistline of 26 inches or less.

The specific waist size suggests that the production may be casting for The Children of the Forest, according to WinterIsComing.net. The Children are a large part of Bran's story arc. In fact, one of these characters was already played by Octavia Selena Alexandru last season finale; she helped Bran and his companions to reach the three-eyed raven. And since Hodor would be absent next season, it is safe to assume that Bran's storyline will focus on his interaction with The Children.

"Game of Thrones" is expected to return on HBO in April 2015.
