Dave Bautista, who played Drax the Destroyer in box-office hit "Guardians of the Galaxy" may star in another Marvel movie, "Avengers 3."

Following the success of "Guardians of the Galaxy," Bautista and his managers are reportedly working with Marvel Studios to create several roles for Bautista, including a sequel for the blockbuster "Guardians of the Galaxy" and "Avengers," according to Cinema Blend.

"Guardians of the Galaxy," reported to be the "top grossing film of the year" in North America, capped a total of $586.2 million, according to Epoch Times.

Bautista played Drax the Destroyer in Marvel franchise "Guardians of the Galaxy." His role was that of an alien trying to seek vengeance for the death his family, according to Marvel.

Bautista plays a unique role in the "Guardians of the Galaxy," with his character both being funny and sentimental, rather than "just being a hunk dumb of muscle," according to Cinema Blend.

Another significant role rumoured to be cooking up for Bautista include one in "Avengers 3."

The movie has not been announced yet, since "Avengers 2" is still scheduled to be released May 2015, according to PW Mania.

Marvel is reported to "restructure" Bautista's contract so that he will earn more playing Drax the Destroyer in future Marvel films.

Bautista's team supposedly do not want him to get associated in World Wrestling Entertainment from now on since a possible injury from wrestling could affect any future movies he's supposed to star in.

Bautista's movie career will be put first and his wrestling career second, according to an insider from PW Mania.

Bautista has done several acting roles, primarily in action movies, including Diaz in "Riddick" and Ray in "House of the Rising Sun."

"Guardians of the Galaxy 2" will premiere on July 28, 2017 while "Avengers 3" will come some time in 2018, according to Cinema Blend.

Meanwhile, Bautista is currently working on a remake of a 1989 film "Kickboxer," along with fellow UFC star Georges St-Pierre, according to IMDb.
