"The Voice Australia" coach Ricky Martin may be having another baby.
"The little baby will come next year. When daddy's little girl arrives, I want to be there," the 42-year-old father of 6-year-old twin boys Matteo and Valentino told a group of reporters at the educational center created by his foundation in Loiza, Puerto Rico, Fox News Latino reported.
Having sought a surrogate mother to have his twin sons, the singer said, "We have to make a couple of phone calls to look for the little girl."
Aside from having a daughter in 2015, Martin is also preparing to have a new album and a promotional tour.
According to Martin, he is "always at work in the studio" with his first single to be launched either in September or October while being committed to the Tau Center, which offers education to youngsters at risk of becoming victims of human trafficking.
During the recent Tau Center inauguration, Martin said, "Music is my priority, though today it seems like it's not."
It is his goal to open additional Tau Centers not only in other areas of Puerto Rico but also in other countries including Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico and the Dominican Republic.
While he was about to give up his career, Martin admitted he changed his mind because his celebrity can help his philanthropic efforts among other reasons.
In fact, he has also recently accepted the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge after being nominated by several celebrities such as Melanie Griffith, Victoria Beckham and Eva Longoria.
Martin then passed the torch to his fellow "The Voice Australia" coaches will.i.am, Kylie Minogue and Joel Madden as well as Calle 13, Sofia Vergara, Juanes and Pablo Alboran.
He did not give details to the amount he donated to the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Association (ALSA).
Meanwhile, the ALSA has dropped its attempt to apply for a trademark of the viral online activity two days after their application, Wired reported.
On the same day, the man who inspired the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge Pete Frates became a new father as his wife Julie had given birth to their daughter Lucy Fitzgerald Frates, Daily Mail has learned.
