"The X Factor Season 11" returning judge Simon Cowell said he wants to have another child with his girlfriend Lauren Silverman just seven months after the birth of his son Eric, who is named after his late father.
"Of course, I'd like another child. You have one, and I'd always have another," Cowell told the Sunday People as cited by Daily Star.
"I've thought about having one in between the series of 'X Factor,'" said the 54-year-old music mogul who is returning as a judge of the ITV reality show after four years.
Another "The X Factor" returning judge is Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, formerly known as Cheryl Cole, who said she has not changed Cowell's son's nappy yet but she would be "more inclined" than Cowell.
A first time father, Cowell said, "I still haven't changed a nappy. I don't think you have to."
"It's like watching your girlfriend go to the loo. You don't have to. You have a choice," Cowell added.
Before the birth of his son, Cowell admitted to his girlfriend he was worried about not being able to love anything more than his pet dogs.
"I actually said to Lauren beforehand, 'What if I like the dogs more than him?' and she said, 'You're gonna be absolutely fine,' and then literally within seconds of him being born, I got it!" Cowell explained.
Cowell and Fernandez-Versini are joining music manager Louis Walsh and former Spice Girls member Melanie Brown in the judging panel of the eleventh season of "X Factor."
During the launch of new season, Cowell accused the BBC of trying to sabotage "The X Factor" by scheduling "Strictly Come Dancing" against it, The Guardian reported.
"I always think that when people do that the people they are pissing off are the viewers. And they say this isn't a ratings battle, it is, that's why they did it," Cowell explained.
On the other hand, Cowell still feels "very lucky" that "The X Factor" is still on air at the moment.
"If I'd been asked about the future of the show ten years ago I'd never imagine we'd still be making it in 2014," he told Daily Star. "Once people get bored with it or if we get bored with it, for sure I'll drop it."
