We caught up with celebrity makeup artist, Sarah Uslan to get the 411 on Becky G's latest red carpet look from MTV's Video Music Awards. Check out the beauty breakdown:
"I started with the COVERGIRL Ready, Set Gorgeous Concealer ($8) and Foundation ($9), which has powder built-in to help fight shine," Uslan began.
Sarah then used the concealer in a 'V' shape under her eyes to give them a bit of a lift before putting the foundation over - adding to the flawless overall look of her skin.
"Then I used bronzing powder to contour her cheekbones and also on the forehead and neck area to warm her skin tone, plus Classic Color Blush ($5) in Rose Silk on the apples of her cheeks. Then I set the whole look with powder," she explained.
"To bring in the silver in the studs on her skirt, I used the creamy Bombshell Shine Shadow ($9) in Ice Queen. It has these reflective pigments so your eyes dazzle when the light hits your face."
Then with the Flamed Out Shadow Pot ($4) in Molten Black, Uslan created a 'V 'from the outside edge of the lash line and going into the crease and blending inward. For shadow, she used Eye Enhancers 4-Kit Shadows ($5) in Drama Eyes and blended that all in.
"To finish off the look, I used the Bombshell Intensity Liner ($9) to create a bigger-than-normal, 60's-inspired cat eye and layered on three coats of Clump Crusher Mascara ($7) on the top lashes and one coat on the bottom," Uslan noted.
"You get a ton of volume, and you can layer it on without clumps - perfect for touch-ups throughout the night," the makeup artist dished. Uslan also used a little dab of the silver shadow on the inner corner of the eye for a pop of shimmery color.
"For lips, we wanted something with a great color payout and also lustrous vibrant shine for the carpet, so we went with Colorlicious Lip Gloss ($8) in Berrylicious," the makeup pro said.
"For a while, matte lips were a big trend but gloss is definitely having a moment and is back in a big way!"
