While in a pub in Australia, Redfoo of "Sexy And I Know It" hit maker LMFAO duo was glassed by a 21-year-old man, whose name was not released, Daily Telegraph reported.
The incident took place at around 12.30am when the 38-year-old singer was in the VIP section of the Golden Sheaf Hotel in Double Bay was dancing with a group of women.
"We were about to round up the party and take it home to the after party. All of a sudden out of nowhere a glass hits me in the head and I look over to see who might have thrown it and I see kind of a dodgy fella trying to flee the scene," Redfoo said.
Arrested by the police, the man who threw the glass was taken to Waverley Police Station and charged with malicious wounding.
"I looked down at my hand and there was blood all over my hand. There's blood on the dance floor," recalled Redfoo who was immediately treated by paramedics for a cut above his eye.
Judging "The X Factor Australia," the American singer tweeted, "Thanks everybody for all your love and support! In Australia to all over the world!"
Redfoo is currently promoting his lead single "New Thang" from his debut LP, according to Idolator.
Featuring Redfoo with even larger hair and several of his classic elements, the new single's music video is filled with animal prints and large plastic glasses. The saxophone in the video is Redfoo's brand new accessory, according to MTV.

After the glassing incident, Redfoo said pubs in Australia should use plastic cups for alcohol but an Office of Liquor, Gaming and Racing representative said the hotel was not prohibited from using glasses.
Redfoo also believes the man who attacked him was just jealous.
"You drop a new single, the girls are dancing, I have no clue. I can't help it if the girls are gyrating their hips towards me and taking selfies and giggling and laughing. It seems like he might have been upset with that and didn't like what he saw," he explained.
