A rep for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie has confirmed the secret wedding of the Brangelina couple that took place in France on Aug. 23, Saturday, Associated Press reported.
Attended only by family and select friends, the Pitt-Jolie wedding was held in a nondenominational civil ceremony in a small chapel at Chateau Miraval in Provence.
Before the private ceremony, the couple obtained a marriage license from a local California judge who officiated the Correns, France wedding.
Their sons 13-year-old Maddox from Cambodia and 10-year-old Pax from Vietnam were with Jolie as she walked the aisle.
The couple's 9-year-old Zahara from Ethiopia and 6-year-old Vivienne served as flower girls while 8-year-old Shiloh and 6-year-old Knox served as ring bearers.
This is the second marriage for Pitt after his divorce in 2005 fromJennifer Aniston, whom he married in 2000. On the contrary, this is the third marriage for Jolie who got married to Jonny Lee Miller in 1996 and to Billy Bob Thornton in 2000.
No further details on Brangelina's wedding and honeymoon were released.
But days after their secret wedding in France, Pitt and Jolie were reportedly seen in Singapore.
However, the Brangelina couple spotted on Aug. 27, Wednesday, at One Fullerton in Singapore were actually Pitt and Jolie's wax figures.
Before the opening of Madame Tussauds Singapore at Imbiah Lookout on Sentosa on Oct 25, the celebrity couple's waxworks that were created in London were among the first to arrive in Singapore, Channel News Asia reported.
Other celebrities to be displayed in Madame Tussauds Singapore with Pitt and Jolie are Johnny Depp, Lady Gaga and David Beckham.
Meanwhile, Pitt and Jolie are currently preparing for their 2015 film "By The Sea," which marks Jolie's second directorial work after "Unbroken," according to IBN Live.
Written and directed by Jolie, "By The Sea" will be produced both by Jolie and Pitt. Their co-stars in the film are yet to be announced.
Pitt's upcoming World War II film "Fury" will be released on Oct. 17 while "Unbroken" will hit theaters by the end of this year.
