"Dancing With The Stars" is set to return with Season 19 this fall, and as early as now the forthcoming season is getting a lot of attention following the very successful 18th run of the hit ABC reality dance competition.
A day prior to the official announcement of the DWTS Season 19 cast on "Good Morning America," details on who are hitting the dance floor this season have been leaked by several celebrity and news sites.
According to the leaked info from E! News, "Pretty Little Liars" star Janel Parrish, who plays Mona on the hit mystery series, has been cast to join the ABC show.
This isn't the first time that a PLL actor competed on the show for the mirrorball trophy. On the 17th run of DWTS, Parrish's costar Brant Daugherty, who plays Noel on the hit ABC Family series, also took the ballroom dancing challenge.
Also part of the Season 19 roster is Olympic hurdler and bobsledder Lolo Jones. And obviously, Jones isn't the first Olympian to compete for the mirror ball trophy. Just last season avid viewers saw the separate journey of the ice-dancing couple champ Charlie White and Meryl Davis. The season even wrapped up with Davis bagging the trophy, alongside dance floor bad boy Maks Chmerkovskiy.
Apart from White and Davis, former champs Apolo Ohno, Kristi Yamaguchi and Shawn Johnson have also graced the DWTS dance floor.
"They both are on this seasons show 100%," an insider said, confirming Parrish and Jones' casting for the forthcoming season to HollywoodLife. "The cast and crew is very excited."
Earlier reports have already leaked the identity of another DWTS Season 19 cast member. "General Hospital" alum and former Calvin Klein model Antonio Sabato Jr. is reportedly prepping to strut his stuff on the dance floor, said a source.
Though ABC has not commented on the casting rumors and leaks, the network has already confirmed that the full list of this season's contestants will be announced on "Good Morning America" on Sept. 4.
The DWTS Season 19 cast follows an impressive Season 18 ensemble which included '90s actresses Candace Cameron Bure and Danica McKellar, "Big Time Rush" actor James Maslow and the inspiring paralympian Amy Purdy, among others.
If Parrish, Sabato, and Jones are indeed on the line-up, they are going to be part of the first batch of celebs ever to be judged by returning dancing pro Julianne Hough, who is taking on a new role as a member of the panel of judges this fall.
"I am warming up the paddles and the sass, and I'm ready to have fun in this new role," Hough reportedly said of her comeback on the show.
On the other hand, the lineup of dancing pros has already been announced by the network and the list includes new and returning fan-favorites including: Mark Ballas, Valentin Chmerkovskiy, Cheryl Burke, Tony Dovolani, Peta Murgatroyd, Karina Smirnoff, and Julianne's five-time champ brother, Derek Hough, Us Weekly has learned.
"Dancing With The Stars" Season 19 is set to premiere on Sept. 15, Monday on ABC.
