"General Hospital" actor Antonio Sabato will be taking the "Dancing With the Stars" stage this coming season.
A source recently confirmed the rumor to E! News but the dancing reality show's official network, ABC, has not yet unveiled any details as of yet.
On September 4, the final casting for "Dancing with the Stars" will be revealed on "Good Morning America," the same publication noted.
If the news were really true, Sabato, 42, will be one of the 12 other contestants joining the show's 19th season, Examiner reported.
Sabato first gained attention as a Calvin Klein model. During the mid-1990s, he was also cast as Jagger Cates on the daytime drama "General Hospital." The hunk has also appeared as a host on various shows including VH1's 'But Can They Sing?" "My Antonio" and "Celebrity Wife Swap."
Meanwhile, "Dancing With the Stars" will see some of the biggest changes yet to date. Just last week, former contestant Julianne Hough, was confirmed as one of the four judges this season, joining veterans Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba.
"I'm so excited to be back with my DWTS family again on a regular basis. I've always aspired to be an all-around entertaining, whether I'm acting, dancing, or singing, and I'm thrilled for this opportunity that will allow me to continue all of those pursuits. I am warming up the paddles and the sass, and I'm ready to have fun in this new role," Hough said.
Julianne's brother, Derek, will also return as a pro dancer on the show. Other familiar faces would include Mark Ballas, Cheryl Burke, Karina Smirnoff, Tony Dovolani and Val Chmerkovskiy, E! News noted.
Other returning pro dancers include Witney Carson, Artem Chigvinstev, Allison Holker, Keo Mostepe, Peta Murgatroyd and Emma Slater, the same publication confirmed.
"Dancing with the Stars" season 19 premieres on Monday, September 15 at 8 p.m. on ABC, according to Soap Opera Network.
