Former Hollywood couple Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' daughter Suri Cruise is facing one serious problem at her young age: her new dog Honey - also known as Maple - has recently gone missing in Los Angeles, Us Weekly has learned.
Just a couple of days after the cute female Chihuahua mix was adopted by Katie Holmes for her 8-year-old daughter, Honey has gone missing, without a trace.
Suri's dog was reportedly from the San Fernando Valley rescue shelter and she was adopted by Holmes in time for her and her daughter's big move to Los Angeles after the "Dawson's Creek" alum purchased a whopping $4 million Calabasas mansion.
On the day Suri Cruise's pet dog went missing, reward posters were scattered around town to hasten the search for the missing canine.
On the reward poster, Suri's dog could be seen wearing a pink dress and lays on a brown blanket. Honey is already 1-year-old and is said to weigh approximately 110 pounds.
Maple was last seen in Benedict Canyon and Green Acres area, when she slipped through the front gates while Katie and Suri were visiting a friend in Beverly Hills, according to Daily Mail.
The "The Giver" star is currently offering a $1000 reward to whoever could return Honey safe to her 8-year-old daughter.
Meanwhile, earlier reports claimed that Holmes decided to move back to Los Angeles from New York to ensure that Suri could grow up in a kid-filled neighborhood.
There are also insiders who said that the big move was actually Holmes' major step in advancing her career.
"She's planning being on bi-coastal," one insider gushed. "She really wants to put herself out there and try some challenging projects and the only way to do that is to be out in LA for meetings."
Holmes suburban six-bedroom, six-bathroom Calabasas home is located in the same gated community where the Kardashian sisters Khloe and Kourtney reside.
The 35-year-old "First Daughter" actress had been living in New York after splitting from her actor husband, Tom Cruise, in 2012, reported People.
In February, Holmes gushed that she and Suri really love their time in Manhattan.
"I love the community in New York. I love New Yorkers. I ran into someone on the street the other day that I went to high school with - I love the moments of spontaneity every day," she said at the time.
"New York has been very good to both of us. I like feeling a part of something big," she added.
