Bryan Cranston and Julia Louis-Dreyfus' make out session at Monday night's Emmy Awards came as a huge surprise to everyone present at the venue.
The "Veep" actress was called to the stage to receive her award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series but as she was about to go up, she was stopped by the "Breaking Bad" actor who grabbed her for a spontaneous make out session, according to US Weekly.
Cranston and Dreyfus' history go a long way back when the former played the role of a dentist and Elaine's on-screen love interest on "Seinfeld," Entertainment Weekly reported.
Prior to her win, Cranston and Dreyfus presented an award and the two teased each other about being love teams in the past, FOX News noted.
Dreyfus initially teased Cranston and joked that she could not exactly remember his appearance on Seinfeld.
"You look so much like the actor in Seinfeld that was the dentist, that I dated, Tim Whatley, who I dated who converted to Judaism for the jokes," she said.
Cranston replied, "That was me, we had a kissing scene."
The lip-locking moment between the two was stopped by Jimmy Fallon himself who called on the "Veep" actress to finally come up on stage to accept her award.
While on stage, Dreyfus explained, "He was on Seinfeld," and the cheering and hollering got even more intense.
"I'm a mess, I'm a wreck, I don't have anything prepared," she kicked off her speech.
When the spotlight was finally on her, she accepted her award and said, "I would love to thank HBO, because honestly, I've worked in a lot of places, and this is my favorite place I've ever worked. I'd like to thank everybody on the show, our intrepid, hilarious writers... and our great cast, whom I adore."
