Chris Brown recently posted a joke following this year's MTV Video Music Awards after club shooting via his personal Instagram account.
In the video, Brown could be heard saying, "This year's 2014 MTV VMAs - at the Forum! Inglewood, we're in the hood! What the f*ck! I'm like, 'Aight, cool.' White people better turn up. Don't do nothin' crazy." Brown posted the video as he was en route to Sunday night's event..
A few hours earlier, Brown hosted a party in Hollywood where the shooting took place, fatally injuring co-founder of Death Row Records, Suge Knight, according to US Weekly.
As of late, Knight, who was shot six times inside the Hollywood hotspot 1OAK, has already undergone surgery and is now recovering in the ICU. Other details about his condition have not yet been disclosed by his friends and family members.
An eyewitness revealed to the publication, "People were screaming and yelling and most ran out immediately. The floor was covered with glass from everyone dropping their drinks."
"Knight underwent surgery at an area hospital after sustaining six gunshot wounds. Police sources have not independently confirmed to CBSLA.com on the record that Suge Knight was wounded in the shooting," TMZ previously reported.
Two other people were wounded following the shooting, specifically a 19-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man. Both were unnamed by police officials who came to the rescue but were confirmed to have been brought to a nearby hospital, CBSLA noted.
At least one person is currently in critical condition following the incident and as of late, no one has been arrested just yet, The Stir noted.
Following the incident, Brown took his thoughts to Twitter and wrote, "It's disappointing that we as a society can't have fun or enjoy ourselves without any altercations sometimes. Miss me with the bullsh*t!!"
