"Jersey Shore" stars Sammi Giancola and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro have broken up yet again, but this time the two are insisting that they are going "separate ways" for good.
Giancola quickly addressed the issue and didn't deny the split when she was interviewed by Us Weekly during the CC Sabathia and Robinson Cano's Summer Classic Charity Basketball Game in New York City this Thursday, Aug. 21.
"It's true. We are no longer together," the 27-year-old said, adding, "I wish him the best but I'm focused on me right now."
Magro also didn't deny the breakup when he was asked about it at the premiere of "Jersey Shore Massacre," which apparently stars his former MTV co-star Jenni "JWOWW" Farley, on Tuesday, Aug. 19, according to New York Daily News.
"We were drifting apart and not really spending any time together," Magro said.
The 28-year-old television personality even went as far as revealing that they have already split two months ago.
Nonetheless, Margo couldn't stop himself from praising Giancola, who is also famously known as "Sweetheart" on the MTV reality series, despite their confirmed breakup.
"I still care about her," Magro said. "She's a great girl, but we were growing distant. It was for the best."
"At the end of the day, we went through a lot of stuff together," he added of his now ex-girlfriend. "We have a lot of history so I keep her close."
It can be noted that the controversial reality couple moved out to Westchester together after the famous MTV series wrapped up in 2012, noted NJ.com.
Giancola and Magro started dating after getting cast on "Jersey Shore" in 2009, and they had shared an on-again, off-again type of relationship since.
Their often violent breakup and makeup sessions were even documented throughout the six-season run of the MTV series.
