On the Aug. 19 episode of "Chelsea Lately," "Chandelier" hit maker Sia explained to Chelsea Handler why she has been hiding her face in her videos, performances and the cover of her latest album "1000 Forms of Fear."
"I don't want to be famous. All my friends that I write pop songs for are super famous, and it really f----d them up!" Sia said with only her blonde bob in view while her back faces the audience.
Among the artists she wrote songs for are Beyonce, Eminem, Katy Perry, Jennifer Lopez, Maroon 5 and Britney Spears, who recently denied lip-syncing to Sia's voice while performing "Perfume" in her Las Vegas, Huffington Post reported.
She has also collaborated with several artists including Rihanna, Shakira, Kesha, Jessie J, David Guetta, Lea Michele, Rita Ora, Celine Dion, Kylie Minogue and Leona Lewis.
"Being hunted, paparazzi-style, doesn't appeal to me. I want to be able to get fat and pee on the side of the road," Sia added.
Handler also asked Sia about her recent wedding.
"Awesome, so nice. You nearly came," said the 38-year-old Australian singer and songwriter who got married to filmmaker Erik Anders Lang at her Palm Springs, Calif. home on Aug. 2, according to US Magazine.
"I wanted to come to your wedding, but it was Sunday night, Palm Springs. I don't know how to get there," Handler replied.
With her face turned away, Sia also performed her single "Chandelier" on "Chelsea Lately" with Chuy Bravo.
Channelling "Dance Mom" star Maddie Ziegler in the "Chandelier" music video, Handler's sidekick swung from a chandelier and wore a blonde bob wig and flesh-colored skin-tight outfit.

The "Wrecking Ball" hit maker will perform a cover of Roy Orbison's "It's Over" on the live series finale of the talk show.
