Former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger announced the release of her new single "On The Rocks" and posted the single's cover art on Monday. It showed her wearing a white low-cut lace dress, revealing her cleavage.
"Excited to announce that my next single will be called 'On The Rocks' #newmusic #comingsoon," she captioned the photo.
"On The Rocks" is her next single after "Your Love," which was not successful internationally but peaked at number 6 on the singles chart in the United Kingdom in July.
According to Scherzinger, "On The Rocks" is "one that some people will really be able to relate to, to really feel."
"I've always spoken about my life in music but I'm at an age where I can be even more open. You can peel back the layers on this album," said former "X Factor" judge who is also set to revive the 1962 hit "You Really Got A Hold On Me" with Steven Tyler and Smokey Robinson, K-Earth 101 reported.
"Your Love" and "On The Rocks" will be featured in her first album to be released under Sony Music Entertainment and RCA Records, according to MTV.
The still untitled sophomore album of the 36-year-old singer was produced by rapper The Dream and songwriter Tricky Stewart, Idolator has learned.
Recently, Scherzinger nominated The Dream and Stewart along with Canadian star Kiesza to do the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.
While most of those who took part in the challenge poured ice cold water on their head, the singer had a bucket of freezing water thrown at her face.
Standing on a beach, Scherzinger was wearing a bikini top and a small pair of shorts showing her toned physique while doing the challenge.
She took to Instagram to share the video of the activity with a caption, "Thnx for the #ALSIceBucketChallenge @blockettagram! I nominate @thekingdream @trickystewart and @kiesza. U have 24 hours!"
Aiming to raise money and awareness for Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis or Lou Gehrig's Disease, the Ice Bucket Challenge was already taken by numerous celebrities, including Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga, Chris Pratt, Britney Spears, Dr. Dre, Tyler Posey and Kylie Jenner among others.
