This is not a good look for the Gorga family. The couple is under fire for allegedly scamming family members and friends out of money to benefit their home in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. Do you think they would do that?
"Joe Gorga has been scamming for years," a source told Star magazine. "He owes everyone money. And Melissa is on board. Joe's the liar, and Melissa swears to it."
"Or Melissa lies, and Joe swears to it. They're a perfect team."
It was also suggested one of Joe's employees loaned him up to $10k, and was never paid back.
"All his employees hate Joe for what he did," the insider continued. "He owes money to a bunch of them."
Joe allegedly also screwed his dad over, Giacinto Gorga, who is suffering from lung cancer.
He convinced his parents to move out of their home to help finance construction on his home in Montville Township. He took out a $500,000 mortgage in his and his father's name, and had his dad take out a $100,000 line of credit. He has yet to pay them back as well.
"[Giacinto] feels betrayed," the insider revealed. But what does he do? He's stuck between a rock and a hard place."
Melissa shared her controversial views on marriage last year in her book, "Love Italian Style." She spoke with ET at the time about what she believes keeps a happy and healthy marriage.
"Joe and I like to keep it fresh. We like to keep it sexy," the reality star told ET at the time. "And we still flirt. I still flirt with Joe as if he were my boyfriend, and I think that's a lot of the problem with a lot of marriages. You get very comfortable, and you just stop flirting."
"When you treat your husband like the king, in return you will be the queen," Gorga says. "It's controversial in many ways, because we do really live an old-school type of marriage, but with a modern twist. I do work a lot, I do raise three kids, and I do have to be out of the house. But I still make sure that when Joe comes in, I get him something to drink, I sit him down, I try to cook for him almost every night."
At least they are happy together!
