Last week we saw Olivia Wilde's gorgeous shoot breastfeeding her son, Otis, for Glamour magazine. She is now opening up about those snaps with "Today's" Savannah Guthrie. Find out what she had to say!
"That grew out of a very organic moment," Wilde explained. "I was working, I was shooting the cover of Glamour, and I needed to feed my son Otis."
"Either I was going to do it off-camera or on, and I thought, 'You know what, shoot it, because this is part of my real life.' But no, usually he has a diaper on and I've never looked that good breast-feeding - and I never will!" she continued.
The "Rush" actress told the mag at the time, "Being shot with Otis is so perfect because any portrait of me right now isn't complete without my identity as a mother being a part of that. Breastfeeding is the most natural thing."
"I don't know, now it feels like Otis should always be on my breast. It felt like we were capturing that multifaceted woman we've been discussing - that we know we can be."
The brunette beauty added, "You can be someone who is at once maternal and professional and sexy and self-possessed. [But] I mean, I certainly don't really look like that when I'm [typically] breast-feeding. And there's usually a diaper involved."
She shared the experience with Twitter followers in an adorable snap, hilariously captioned, "Otis ordered milkshakes. Luckily I had some on me. Then he peed on my dress. Good kid. #boobfood #whennaturecalls."
Pregnant Guthrie teased, "I hear Otis may or may not have ruined that gorgeous dress?"
"Yes!" Jason Sudeikis' fiancé replied. "Yes, he christened it."
