It looks like Ian Somerhalder and new girlfriend Nikki Reed are not ready to make things red carpet official just yet.

"The Vampire Diaries" season 6 cast member and the "Twilight" actress reunited at the 2014 Teen Choice Awards Sunday night in Los Angeles but kept things very PG.

According to E! News, the rumored couple decided to avoid taking pictures together at the popular award show. Instead, Ian Somerhalder opted to pose for a few pictures before meeting up with Nikki Reed again.

When he reunited with his hot new girlfriend, the actor gave his lady a warm hug and a sweet kiss on the cheek which resulted in her being all smiles as the had a quick chat before the show began

The 35-year-old CW star looked hot as he posed for the cameras showing off his biceps in a tight ISF (Ian Somerhalder Foundation) short sleeve T-shirt with a pair of jeans.

When speaking of his new relationship a source said, "[Nikki and Ian are] smitten with each other and love spending time together." an insider recently dished to E! News.

Although the couple is still getting to know each other and are in the early stages of dating, the insider insisted that the new romance is indeed heating up.

Dating rumors began surrounding the new couple when Somerhalder was spotted out last month with Nikki Reed shopping and was caught affectionately touching her neck, giving her a kiss on the head and holding her close as the two looked at items.

Since then, the duo has been spotted together shopping at farmers markets, jogging with their dogs and most recently hugging each other on a red carpet.
