Congrats are in order for Christina Ricci and cinematographer James Heerdegen! The couple welcomed their first child, a beautiful baby boy! We are sure they will make fantastic parents!
"They are thrilled and ready for a change of pace," an insider told Us Weekly.
We told you in May the '90s starlet was expecting with her newlywed hubby, who she wed in 2013 after meeting on the set of her TV series "Pan Am." Ricci must love her privacy, as she kept her engagement under wraps as well.
Ricci's rep confirmed the pregnancy to E! News, and we were shocked considering she tweeted a selfie last month with a large T-shirt and no visible baby bump.
It was impossible to deny after being spotted at LAX with a large bump under her blouse she tried to cover with a belt.
The pair went public with their relationship in February 2012. The intimate wedding took place in New York City at Harold Pratt House and Peterson Hall. Ricci stunned in a high-neck Givenchy Haute Couture with lace, satin, and pearls.
"I'm excited to be with all my friends and family and just have a lovely night," she had said of her nuptials. "I love so many things about (James). He's my favorite person on Earth."
She also revealed how much she loved being engaged to Heerdegen.
"Getting to say 'fiancé' instead of 'boyfriend,'" she said of her favorite part. "People take you so much more seriously once you start throwing around that word."
She re-iterated these thoughts to PEOPLE magazine before tying the knot.
"I can't wait [to call him], 'Husband,' because then I can really throw my weight around," she teased.
The actress shot to fame from her role as a child in "Mermaids," and is best known for portraying Wednesday Adams in "The Adams Family." She obtained a Golden Globe nod for "The Opposite of Sex" and starred in "Sleepy Hollow."
We are just so thrilled for them! Do you agree? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below!
