How cute! Since Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie often work apart due to schedules, they send each other love letters to keep the romance alive. Would you do the same?
"(Brad) was supportive from a distance, and it was quite romantic in a way," Jolie told Australia's TV Week.
The two used hand-written letters to get into their old-fashioned characters, as opposed to using electronics.
"We decided to be of that time when we could imagine he was in the European theater and I was in the Pacific theater. We wrote hand-written letters to each other that were very connecting for us, thinking of the people that were separated for months, if not years, at a time back then."
"Today" anchor Al Roker praised the heartfelt gesture.
"It is romantic," he said Friday. "There's something nice when you get a handwritten note from somebody - I don't care who it is. ... It's an art form that's kind of lost."
Jolie, who met Pitt on the set of "Mr. and Mrs. Smith," recently gushed over her "fairy-tale" life with the actor.
"I never thought I'd have children, I never thought I'd be in love, I never thought I'd meet the right person," the actress confessed to Elle.
"Having come from a broken home - you kind of accept that certain things feel like a fairy tale, and you just don't look for them."
They are now engaged and have a brood of six children together.
"You get together and you're two individuals and you feel inspired by each other, you challenge each other, you complement each other, drive each other beautifully crazy," the sexy Jolie gushed to the mag.
She then added, "After all these years, we have history - and when you have history with somebody, you're friends in such a very real, deep way that there's such a comfort, and an ease, and a deep love that comes from having been through quite a lot together."
